Every great story has a beginning, and for Ruff House Dog Training, it began with one dog.
Tank was more than just a Cane Corso — he was family, protector, teacher, and the foundation of everything Ruff House stands for. Trained for obedience, loyalty, and protection, he embodied the perfect balance: a fearless guardian and a gentle companion. He protected his family without hesitation and loved them without limits.
For years, he was the face of our program, the heart of our kennel, and the bloodline behind countless Cane Corsos who now live with families across the country and around the world. Many of our clients today share their lives with one of his puppies — a living piece of his legacy.
You'll see his image in our logo, because he is, and always will be, the spirit of Ruff House. He set the standard for what a dog could be: loyal, courageous, disciplined, and deeply bonded to his people.
Though he has passed, his legacy lives on — in every family he has touched, in every puppy he produced, and in the mission we continue every single day: to train dogs to be their very best, just like he was.

Evaluations
Before training begins, every dog starts with an evaluation. This is the first step to understanding your dog's needs and making sure we set you both up for success.
What to Expect
Owner Jimmy will personally meet with you and your dog(s) to:
- Assess current training level and temperament
- Discuss your goals and concerns
- Recommend the best program for your lifestyle

Cost

One-hour hands-on sessions covering the same obedience skills as our board-and-train programs. Protection elements can be incorporated. You handle your dog alongside the trainer — learning commands, structure, and consistency for life at home.
